CalAir Newsletter September 2018 – Share and Get Swag

Share your experience and get some Cirrus swag!

As we work harder and harder to get the word out that we’ve got the best fleet, KHHR is the coolest airport, and that we are here to help as much as possible, we’re asking you all to help us out if you have a minute. In turn, we’ll make sure to hook you up with some Cirrus gear!

So, go to Yelp, Google, or Facebook and share about your experience and give us a positive review and we’ll make sure to send out some swag. Whether you’ve just done a demo with us, visited our open house, completed a license, recently solo’d, or if we manage your Cirrus, share it with all! Once you do, let us know and we’ll drop a little something in the mail!

CalAir Is LA

If you’ve been into our offices lately, you’ve likely noticed a little of the new decor. With that, we’d like to introduce the artwork of Decastro! He’s a local artist from Venice Beach who’s had his work featured on TV shows such as Californication and CSI, and has been in several esteemed art shows and publications.

When I asked him if he’d like to display some of his art in our offices, he jumped at the opportunity. We constantly exclaim that “We are LA’s Cirrus Center”, we thought it appropriate to then blend some other aspects of LA, why not some of the local art? Better than staring at blank walls too, right?

Decastro’s art is so much more than just what’s shown in the office. What I asked him to show are pieces of his ‘LA of the World’ series. Feel free to check out more of his incredibly talented work at www.dcastroarts.com. Or, if you catch yourself tooling along the Venice boardwalk for an afternoon stroll, stop by and see his gallery!

N667MT – For Sale

It’s true, it’s time for MT to move on. MT has been a wonderful aircraft to have with us and has been part of the backbone of our standardized training. A small piece of CalAir’s collective heart will be broken when it leaves. However, I suppose that’s the bad news, then the good news that follows is in its place comes another brand new SR20! That’s due in early November!

In the meantime, this may be the perfect opportunity to get into a used Cirrus SR20. At this point, MT is a very well-known product, has had all work 100% done (you know that we never defer any maintenance, that’s one reason you fly with us), and you may already have a personal relationship with this pretty little bird.

Asking price is $295,000 but the owner is well open to offers. Call me directly if you have any questions or would like to make an offer and I’d be more than happy to forward things along! Stay tuned for delivery details on the new tail number and we’ll keep moving forward to bring you only the newest from Cirrus aircraft.
