From takeoff to landing: A brief guide to flying a Cirrus aircraft
Make your dream of flight a reality. At CalAir, our programs are designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of a Cirrus aircraft, its systems, as well as the skills and knowledge you need to become a pilot.
To become a pilot, you will need to follow several steps:
– complete ground school training
– practice in our all-new FAA-approved Cirrus Simulator
– log flight time
– obtain a private pilot license
In our program, you receive hands-on training and real-flight experiences to help you develop your skills and confidence. We’ll also teach you about the various systems that make flying a Cirrus aircraft unique and enjoyable, such as the advanced avionics, autopilot systems, and the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). You will also receive instruction on the different phases of flight, including takeoff, cruising, descent, and landing. Our experienced instructors will provide you with personalized training: in the classroom, on our advanced simulator, and in the cockpit.
At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to put your skills to the test and earn your private pilot license. With your license in hand, you will be able to fly solo and explore the world from above.
